What Is the 21 Day Fix?
21 Day Fix is a workout routine and eating plan designed by national bikini model and fitness guru Autumn Calabrese. The beauty of this routine is that it’s one of the best starter routines for those just getting into working out, as well as one that is great for those that in great shape too. The other item that makes this one of the best Beachbody workouts is the custom color coded containers used to help guide you into healthier eating. Nutrition is one of the most important parts of a healthy workout, and with 21 Day Fix, Beachbody and Autumn Calabrese provide the most perfect way of getting you to the finish line of healthy.
While I’ve gravitated toward P90X3 and Insanity, as a male I found 21 day Fix to be a great workout by itself, I tend to put it between my longer workout programs since it’s only 21 days. That being said my wife has done 21 Day Fix back to back since she liked it so much and found it to really get her body where she wanted it.
When you add in the easy nutrition, using color coded containers, it becomes really easy to not only lose weight, but look better than ever. Eating healthy is really the secret to getting the most out of these workouts, and to be honest I often thought I ate healthy until I tried using these containers and the nutrition guide. I found that I had a lot more energy throughout the day, and I could push myself more during these workouts. As a result I’ve started using these container with other programs.

21 Day fix is the perfect workout for those that might not be in the best shape, or for those hesitant to try a longer 90 day routine. I mean, it’s only 21 days right? 3 weeks and you’ll look better, be more fit, and you’ll feel more energetic and happier with yourself. Confidence will increase, and your friends and family will notice.
21 Day Fix is also perfect for those that are more in shape as you will still get an amazing workout. Autumn Calabrese has tons of moves that will work you out. In addition you will have the easy to follow nutrition guide along with the color containers. Even the most fit will find something they didn’t know before, plus, you get a kick butt workout that you can do at home, or anywhere. Some of these workouts I’ll just pull out when I need something different, so it’s good to have around.

What Does the 21 Day Fix Schedule Look Like?
With 21 Day fix you have 3 weeks to finish the program. During the first 2 weeks you will workout 6 days a week, with each workout clocking in at 30 minutes.
The 3rd week you would perform two work outs a day (each still 30 minutes), one in the morning, and one in the evening.
What Is the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan?
I have never seen such an easy way to portion control and eat healthy as part of any workout routine as Autumn Calabrese has designed with 21 Day Fix. Usually we hear that we should watch what we eat, eat less carbs or protein etc, but I’m always left wondering if I’m doing it correctly, or, I often think I’m doing a great job but never understand why the scale isn’t moving downward. After trying out this program I understood where I went wrong. I would have more cheat snacks then I would admit to. I would eat my kids chicken nuggets as they tasted great and didn’t want to see them thrown out. I would go out with friends and consider it a cheat meal, even though I had a few other cheat snacks during the week. I was my own worst enemy.
With this plan, all food fits in the containers, you only eat what’s in the container, and since they are color coded you will eat a balanced meal every day, for 3 weeks. It takes all of the guess work out of it, which I love. I don’t want to have to think, should I eat this? How many calories is it? Etc. I just want to eat and move on.
What are the Workouts in 21 Day Fix?
1. Total Body Cardio Fix – This workout targets your entire body, it keeps your heart rate up which helps your heart, increases metabolism throughout the day, and targets every muscle group.
2. Upper Fix – Amazing resistance workout targeting your upper body, from your chest, back, shoulders, arms and even your core.
3. Lower Fix – Prepare to feel the burn, in a good way! Your entire lower body is targeted in this workout. Your legs, thighs, and butt will be happy.
4. Pliates Fix – Pilates is amazing for your core, it also helps elongate your muscles, and firms those hips and thighs
5. Cardio Fix – Your heart will be pumping during this workout, and you will break a sweat. This is a fun workout, and Autumn makes the 30 minutes breeze right by.
6. Yoga Fix – Watch how, over the 21 days, your balance, flexibility and strength improve. Yoga Fix is the perfect workout to get your body back on track after a full week of working out.
